| A: Rock candy is made in minimum batches of 10kg. The 10kg batch size is required in order to have enough molten candy at the start to clearly build the letters and/or shapes to be pieced together for the design on a larger scale so it can then be stretched and extruded down into smaller pieces without losing its shape as it gets smaller. |

| A: The largest single batch size that can be made by hand is 14kg…….although you can order a tonne if you like! We’ll just need some extra time |
Q: Can I order less than 10kgs? |
| A: No, our fingers aren’t that small and it becomes too difficult to work with the mixture. For less than 10kg we recommend trying our ready made rock candy for Events + Occasions. For example, there is “Thank You” and “I Love You”. We also have a Heart Rock Candy which is very popular for weddings. Heart rock is generally pink on the outside, white in the middle with a love heart design inside and is strawberry flavoured. See our Online Shop for these products |
Q: How long in advance do I need to order? |
| A: We prefer a minimum of 14 days, however we will always do our best to meet urgent orders. Very rarely do we have to say no. The larger the order the more we would appreciate extra notice. |
Q: How many pieces of rock candy in a 10kg batch? |
A: Rock candy is cut by hand and so will very slightly in size. A 10kg batch will have up to 5,000 pieces

| Q: What are the packaging options? |
| A: You can choose between glass jars and clear poly bags in varying sizes depending on how many you need from a 10kg batch. See Packaging Options for more details and costs. |
Q: Do I need to have the whole batch packaged? |
| A: It is not necessary to package the whole batch. Any left over rock candy will be supplied in bulk storage bags of up to 1kg at no extra cost. We can also package or order in more than one size bag and/or jar if required. |
Q: Can I package the rock candy myself? |
| A: Yes you can as long as care is taken to ensure completely airtight bags or jars are used. It is also important that the rock candy is not exposed to hot or humid conditions or to the air for excessive periods otherwise it will absorb moisture and become sticky. When you collect your lollies they are best stored in a cool, dark, dry place, perhaps a cupboard. They should never be stored in the fridge. |
Q: How long does the rock candy last? |
| A: Usually not very long because it tastes so good! We don’t think it’s ever been required but the lollies are still fabulous after 12 months if kept in airtight conditions and out of excesive heat or humidity. |
Q: Does the natural flavour of the rock candy have to match the natural colour? |
| A: No, they are completely independent. It’s over to your imagination. |
Q: Does Suga deliver overseas? |
A: Yes we do and mostly for orders packaged in bags rather than jars. We do caution against shipping jars due to their fragility over long distances and extra weight. Shipping can also be a risk in excessively hot conditions. Please enquire for international postage costs as they vary from country to country. (See delivery costs table below).

| Q: What happens when I place my order? |
| A: A Suga team member will contact you within 1 to 3 working days at most to confirm the details of your order before we place it into production. If you need to contact us with greater urgency, then any of our stores will gladly assist over the phone if you phone us directly. |
Q: Is the delivery cost included in the price? |
A: No, the delivery cost is added on depending on where the product has to be sent. Delivery costs for customised/personalised orders are listed below.

A: Yes, you can pick up your order if you are near one of our stores. We encourage this as we are delighted to see your reaction to the finished product first hand!
